Chef Stein is a graduate of the University of Illinois Business School, the culinary arts program at Chicago’s Kendall College and Moonshine U distiller program. He is a member of the board of directors for Slow Food Bluegrass, cookbook author on sustainable cooking and celebrated chef and restaurateur.
Tara Ogden – Co-Founder / Chief Marketing Officer
Tara Ogden is an artist with a flair for transforming the mundane into beautiful works of art. She has been a sales associate and marketing representative for a number of companies in the retail and hospitality industries. Tara has extensive experience in restaurant service and in hospitality promotion. She is responsible for maintaining the whimsical vision and translating Transformation Spirits dreams into an executable strategy.

The distilling process requires grain, which attracts mice and birds. The best way to eliminate mice and birds – a distillery cat. At least that is the history. Today, vermin are not a problem, so why keep a distillery cat? The contemporary distillery cat is an ambassador. Linus, a rescued Lynx Point, is Transformation Spirits marketing envoy, head of security and CNO – Chief Nap Officer. He is an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan and punches in every day to prowl for mice when not power-napping.
